Fortnite automation

Potato Graphics for Fortnite.

A driver-level automation most tweak tools don't attempt. One click pushes Fortnite's NVIDIA driver profile below what its own settings menu allows — real registry-level driver settings, not an in-game preset. It lives on its own page in the app, separate from the 50 system tweaks below, and only appears if Winsmate detects an NVIDIA GPU.

Same spot, same match — no official Fortnite setting reaches this low on its own.

  • Lower input lag — clicks register faster
  • CPU freed from background junk

One-click presets

No mode switch.
Just presets.

There's no app-wide Safe/Full toggle — every one of the 50 tweaks flips on or off individually. These three presets just batch-apply a curated set in one click from the Overview tab, so you don't have to click through all 50 by hand.

  • Every tweak reverts to Windows' documented default the moment you switch it off
  • A preset (or "Restore all") applies as one fast batch, with each tweak checked individually so failures never show as a silent success
  • A real Windows System Restore checkpoint is one click away in Settings before you touch anything
  • The 2 Full Mode tweaks are never bundled into a preset — you switch those on individually, with a warning

FAQ

Questions.

Is this safe? Will it get flagged as malware?
Yes, completely safe. Winsmate only modifies Windows registry keys and system settings — it doesn't install any background processes or phone home. You can verify it yourself on VirusTotal before running. It requires Administrator rights because Windows requires that to change system settings, just like any legitimate optimization tool.
Is this safe to run?
48 of the 50 tweaks are standard performance and privacy tweaks that don't touch any security feature. The other 2 — disabling VBS/Hyper-V and CPU security mitigations — are tagged "Full Mode" in the app and pop up a one-time warning you have to confirm before either one applies. They're fine for a dedicated gaming PC but not recommended if you run virtual machines.
Will it survive Windows updates?
Yes. All tweaks are applied to the Windows registry and system settings which persist across updates and reboots. You only need to run Winsmate once.
What GPUs and CPUs does it support?
Winsmate works on any Windows 10 or 11 PC. NVIDIA-specific tweaks — including Potato Graphics for Fortnite — only show up if an NVIDIA GPU is detected. All other tweaks apply universally to any hardware.
Can I undo the tweaks?
Yes. Winsmate can create a real Windows System Restore point before you apply anything, and every tweak can be reverted individually or all at once with a single "Restore all" button that puts each setting back to its Windows default. The one exception is Remove OneDrive, which the app flags as irreversible — Winsmate can't reinstall it for you, but grabbing it back is just a download from onedrive.live.com if you change your mind.
How much FPS will I gain?
Results vary by hardware and game. On CPU-bottlenecked setups (like older Intel chips running Fortnite), users have seen 40-100+ FPS increases. The biggest gains come from killing background processes and enabling the Ultimate Performance power plan.
What is Potato Graphics?
A Fortnite-specific automation that goes further than any in-game setting. It downloads the open-source NVIDIA Profile Inspector tool, applies verified low-level driver settings (texture LOD bias, anisotropic filtering, transparency supersampling) directly to Fortnite's NVIDIA profile, and closes Fortnite so the change is live next launch. Fully reversible with one click.
Do I need to run it as Administrator?
Yes. Winsmate modifies system-level registry keys which requires Administrator rights. The installer handles this automatically — just click Yes on the UAC prompt when it appears.
