In the app you can cut a clip, turn the game and your mic up or down on their own, and post it to the Community. The FPS counter reads frame timings Windows already records. The crosshair is a see-through window on top of the game. Fortnite Settings and the Roblox FPS cap only change the settings file the game’s own menu saves to, with the game closed.

- Is saved first. The old value is stored before anything changes.
- Can be undone. One tweak or all of them, any time. The one exception, Remove OneDrive, is marked and never runs in a preset.
- Has a restore point. Presets make a Windows restore point first.

How to check the file is ours
Open PowerShell in the folder you downloaded it to and run Get-FileHash ".\Winsmate-Tweaks-Setup-2.6.3.exe". If the hash it prints matches the SHA-256 above, your file is exactly the one we made.
Why does Windows warn me?
Windows SmartScreen warns about new apps from small makers that aren’t code-signed yet. It’s a warning that it doesn’t know the app, not that it found anything. Click More info, then Run anyway. Winsmate asks for admin rights because it changes system settings.

Can I get banned for using it?
No. Winsmate only changes Windows settings. It never touches game files or game memory, the FPS counter reads frame timings Windows already records, and the crosshair is just a window drawn on top of the game, so there’s nothing for anti-cheat to detect.
Can I undo everything?
Yes. Before each tweak runs, Winsmate saves the value it replaces, and Restore puts back exactly what was there. If a tweak fails half way, it puts that one back straight away. Every session is listed with its own Undo button, and presets also make a Windows restore point first. The only exception is Remove OneDrive, which is marked irreversible and never runs as part of a preset.
What’s in the free version?
Any 30 tweaks you choose (turn one off and it goes straight back to how Windows had it, so you can try another), plus PC Check, the FPS Test, Fortnite Settings, stretched res, Clean up, Driver Check, Startup Apps, the Monitor and Mouse & Keyboard tests, the Sensitivity Converter and browsing the Community. It’s not a trial: it never runs out.
How do I unlock Pro?
Buy Pro on Payhip for £7.99 and your key arrives by email straight away. Open Winsmate, press Get Pro, sign in with Google, then paste the key. Pro is saved to your Winsmate account, so it works on any PC you sign in on, and it keeps working offline for up to 30 days at a time. One payment, and every future update is free.
Why do I need to sign in for Pro?
So your key is yours. Each key unlocks one Winsmate account, which stops it being shared around, and means you never lose Pro: sign in on a new PC and it’s there. The free version needs no account at all.
I’m on my phone. Can I buy now?
Yes. Payhip emails you your Pro key straight after you pay. On your Windows PC, download Winsmate free from this site, open it, sign in and paste the key.
Is it safe? Windows warned me about the download.
Yes. The installer is clean on VirusTotal, with no security vendors flagging it, and you can check the file yourself with its SHA-256. Small apps that aren’t code-signed still get a SmartScreen warning the first time: click More info, then Run anyway. It asks for admin rights because it changes system settings.
How much FPS will I gain?
It depends on your PC. Buyers on Trustpilot report jumps like 160 to 290 FPS and 240 to 500 FPS in Fortnite. PCs that are held back by background apps and Windows power settings gain the most. A PC that’s already tuned will gain less. The built-in FPS Test measures your own FPS before and after, so you see your real difference.
Does Clips lower my FPS?
Barely. It records on your graphics card’s own video encoder (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel), so your game keeps the processor and graphics power. PCs with no graphics encoder record on the processor at 720p instead. Clips saves to your Videos folder, and you can switch Instant Replay off or have it run only while you play.
Does it work for games other than Fortnite?
Yes. The tweaks change Windows itself, so they work for every PC game: Fortnite, Roblox, VALORANT, CS2, Minecraft, Call of Duty, Apex Legends and the rest. The Games page finds your games from Steam, Epic, Riot, Battle.net, EA app, Ubisoft Connect, the Xbox app, GOG and Roblox, and your overlay, crosshair and Instant Replay can start by themselves when you play. Roblox stops at 60 FPS unless you change it, and Winsmate raises it to 240 in one click. Only Potato Graphics and Fortnite Settings are just for Fortnite.
I already bought it. Do I need a key?
No. If you bought Winsmate before the free version came out, you keep everything: just update as normal and every feature stays unlocked. Updates are free forever. When a new version is out you get a notification and an Update now button.
Do I need an account?
Not for the free version. An account is for Pro (your key is saved to it) and for the Community: posting your clips, crosshairs and overlays, liking and following. You sign in with Google, and people only see the nickname and picture you choose.
Will it help on my PC?
Run PC Check first: it shows what’s holding your PC back, including things no tweak can fix, like RAM running slower than it’s made for. Presets also skip tweaks that don’t suit your PC, for example on laptops or PCs with 8 GB of RAM.
Do I need an NVIDIA graphics card?
Only for Potato Graphics and the NVIDIA tweaks. Everything else works on any Windows 10 or 11 PC, including AMD and Intel graphics and laptops.
Do I need to restart?
Some tweaks only take effect after a restart. The app marks them and offers a Restart now button when you apply them.
What’s your refund policy?
